On Friday night, I had a great opportunity to support an amazing cause. One of our artists did a reunion show with his former band. For three nights, Madison Square Garden was sold-out. The event was Dispatch-Zimbabwe. The history is that in 2007, Zimbabwe's inflation rose to 1,281.1%, the highest in the world by far. The unemployment rate is 85%, and poverty at 90%. There is an overwhelming amount of people in desperate need of food, and one in four are HIV positive. The benefit at MSG raised over $1.5 million for Zimbabwe. You can check it out at http://www.dispatchmusic.com/zimbabwe/
Here are some shots.. thought i would be crafty and use the flash-off button. Still trying to get the hang of keeping the camera still.
