Boo!

Happy (post) Halloween from this crazy city. This year we decided not only to not dress up, but to not dress up and go to the craziest section in all of New York, the West Village. Every year they do an insane parade that runs up 6th ave. in the city... picture the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, people packed in like sardines, but minus the hot-air Bird Bird floats and just picture people dressed up like Big Bird walking.

One of the best costumes for this parade was a man dress up like Naomi Campbell in an evening gown, with a community service vest... his/her maid in front of her/him with a "black eye" and an assistant that was following them picking up the gold cel phone that he/she kept throwing at the maid. Yes, those are the kinds of costumes that you get here in the city. Needless to say, we lasted about 5 minutes and then walked a few blocks away with our fun-loving group and decided to celebrate in a more...relaxed...atmosphere.
