Long Beach Island

A quick lil' weekend getaway to Long Beach Island in South Jersey. It was so great to be able to put my feet in the sand!!!!! We stayed at Giancarlo's parents house a couple blocks from the beach...(my kind of people) It was a great relaxing weekend at "the jersey shore." On Saturday night we ended up at the Tiki Bar.. it was calling our names, and I got GC to dance, sober. Quiet the accomplishment. We also visited the first Ron Jon surf shop with "the worlds largest surfboard." Can't wait to go back!

Dispatch- Zimbabwe

On Friday night, I had a great opportunity to support an amazing cause. One of our artists did a reunion show with his former band. For three nights, Madison Square Garden was sold-out. The event was Dispatch-Zimbabwe. The history is that in 2007, Zimbabwe's inflation rose to 1,281.1%, the highest in the world by far. The unemployment rate is 85%, and poverty at 90%. There is an overwhelming amount of people in desperate need of food, and one in four are HIV positive. The benefit at MSG raised over $1.5 million for Zimbabwe. Live Earth pictures!

Some pictures from Live Earth concert this weekend. A few highlights... having Al Gore's box suite next to us. Although, even though we got literally two feet away from him, still too shocked to get the camera out in time. Watching Rodger Waters, Dark Side of the Moon with the New Jersey childrens choir (and the huge flying pig!) Live Earth! Today GC and I, along with a group of friends, will be working the Live Earth concert here in New York City! It is a monumental, historical music event that is raising awareness on Global Warming. Artists at the New York Live Earth include: The Police, Dave Matthews, Kelly Clarkson, AFI (my personal favorite) Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi and loads more. Cecilia & Sal's Wedding

July 3rd we went and celebrated Cecilia and Sal's wedding at a French Chateau in New Jersey! It was a gorgeous wedding, and thankfully the weather held out for the rest of the day. The chateau was a summer vacation home for a Fortune 500 C.E.O.(of course..) I definitely wouldn't have minded growing up there in the summers. Giancarlo's lil' cousin, Diego, kept us entertained throughout the whole night.

New York Nights

Another night out in New York at one of our favorite bars, Black and White. Conveniently located across from Adrienne's apartment. No using the bar bathrooms ..hehe. Tuesday nights are trivia nights, although I don't think we could have competed with the talent that the bar brings in, so what else is there to do but have a drink... or two.

The best thing about summer in the city is the BBQ's!!! This past Saturday was Lacey's birthday party. The best thing is that she lives right around the corner from GC so didn't need to stumble too far to get back home. Among my many goals in life.. a backyard with a BBQ is among the top 10.
